About this Coffee

Producer Miguel Medina Becerra may be young, but he knows a thing or two about growing top-notch coffee. Straight out of Huila, Colombia, Miguel has dedicated his craft to elevating the region's reputation in specialty coffee. At his farm, El Progreso, Miguel takes a meticulous approach to farming, ensuring cherries fully ripen on the tree before being carefully hand-picked by skilled harvesters. This selective process guarantees only the best fruit are collected. He oversees every step of the wet milling process, from de-pulping, a crucial 12–24-hour fermentation, to the careful drying of the beans for 15 days to ensure consistency and quality.

Roasted for filter, expect sweet notes of red apple, milk chocolate and peach complemented by a smooth body and caramel finish. We picked this lot for a reason — it's a winner.
