About this Coffee
The Kamwangi Coffee Factory, set up in 1983, is one of two factories managed by the New Ngariama Cooperative Society in Kenya's Kirinyaga County. Located on the slopes of Mount Kenya, the region’s rich red volcanic soils make it a prime spot for growing top-tier coffee. We picked this lot from Kamwangi for its vibrant fruit flavours of green apple and black currant, complemented by a crisp malic acidity this filter coffee makes for a juicy cup.

Tasting Notes
The Golden Ratio
We recommend a ratio of 60g of freshly ground coffee for every litre of water. This is a good place to start, but you can fine-tune your recipe to suit your taste. You'll find some suggested brewing ratios of hot water to ground coffee for you to use below.
