ABOUT THIS COFFEE

Since 2019, our partners in Tolima, Colombia, have been honing the art of natural processing. This lot from El Indio shows that hard work does indeed pay off.

Grown and harvested by 175 farming families, ripe coffee cherries are carefully dried on raised beds under the close watch of a specialised quality team. The slow, even drying allows the coffee’s natural sugars and fruit plenty of time to really do their thing. The result? A wildly expressive, fruit-forward cup.

From the sweet aroma alone, you can tell El Indio is something special. Expect a heavy, syrupy body and juicy acidity, with refreshing notes of berry sorbet and sweet melon. Then comes a nostalgic hit of Pineapple Lumps and a long, lingering finish. Bright, bold, and bursting with fruit, El Indio is the perfect example of just how stellar Colombian naturals can be.
