Nestled in the slopes of the Aberdare Range in Muranga County is the Kayu Coffee Factory. This region has it all – rich, vibrant red soils, buckets of rainfall, and high-up altitudes that treat the coffee cherries just right. Kenya Kayu’s sweet peach and nougat notes bring delight to every mouthful. Enjoy a lingering cocoa finish which will have you coming back for more.

Tasting Notes
The Golden Ratio
We recommend a ratio of 60g of freshly ground coffee for every litre of water. This is a good place to start, but you can fine-tune your recipe to suit your taste. You'll find some suggested brewing ratios of hot water to ground coffee for you to use below.
