About this Coffee

Grown in the beautiful highlands of Southern Ethiopia, this farm is isolated in a valley known as Buku Sayisa, which translates to Blessed Valley. The farm plots are scattered and the terrain is uneven, so the farmers deliver the cherry on horseback. Buku Sayisa is one of the highest elevated coffee growing areas in Hambela Wamena with an altitude of 2,350 meters above sea level. With such a high altitude, this coffee has had a long and slow fermentation resulting in a wild and vibrant flavour profile. Enjoy notes of jasmine and raspberry with a citric acidity and milk chocolate finish.
